For example, instead of &amp;quot;I will finish this novel.&amp;quot;, it should be &amp;quot;I am finishing this novel.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The reason for this is that the subconscious mind lives only in present and the affirmations, after repeated use, gets embedded in the subconscious mind, propelling you towards the desired outcome.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I would highly recommend books by Ruth Fishel and Louise L. I have certain go-to positive songs that get me energized, inspired, and ready to write. I sue them and have read a number of books dealing with the subject?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;May I (humbly) make one suggestion?  Phrase your affirmations in the positive sense, so your subconscious mind hears the positive words.
