I think the YA market is way, way, way too underrated. I'd have to agree with every point you make. I never really thought about the lack of sub genres but it's so true. <BR/><BR/>I'm glad YA is getting edgier. It's not my favorite stuff to read but I like that it's an option and like you said, esp. since teenagers are dealing with those issues.
